    Vicki says "Sara"
Update from Mom April 25, 2004
Sara had her kidney transplant on May 15, 2003. God blessed me with a beautifully matched, healthy kidney to share with Sara. Her health improved just like before. She was able to return to work a few days a week, even her eyesight which had declined so that she had difficulty seeing at night returned.
Her life was filling up again. She busied herself with shopping at “Old Navy”, looking for great deals on shoes, indulging at “Starbucks” and “Jamba Juice”, and in the past few months, getting to know a special young man that helped her and caused her to draw even closer to the Savior she loves so very much.
Sara was admitted to the hospital Tuesday, April 13th with stomach pains. By Sunday, April 18th, Sara had had five surgeries. In a meeting with her doctor, it was his opinion that two miracles had already happened. She had survived the surgeries and her transplanted organs were behaving as her own! Her doctors, who had made efforts above where others would have stopped short, did warn us her days ahead were filled with dangers. However, we had hope as she quickly began to come out of the induced paralysis and drugs that had kept her comfortable the past few days. We spent the next two days encouraged as she continued to recover. We were able to visit yet she was not aware of the gravity of her situation. Wednesday morning, the 21st of April, it was obvious to the doctors she had more infection and they suspected she was bleeding internally. We had to decide between more surgery and an even more frightening future or to let her go to be with her Lord. Without discontinuing care, Sara went to be with Jesus just after 9:30 that evening. We miss her so very much.

Rebecca says "Just wanted to say 'hi'"
Hi, I'm Rebecca, mum to two children under 3 yrs old with CF. My daughter has always been very well (she's 3 next month), but my son, (9 months old) has had a much bigger struggle with his chest since birth. He's already had four courses of iv's and his veins have collapsed in his hands, so he's now waiting for surgery for a portacath.

I found your website on an internet search engine, because I typed in 'portacath cystic fibrosis', and I just wanted to send you a cyber hug for all that you've been through. God has obviously been a giant source of strength for you, I am so glad that you see His influence in your life, and I want to wish you all the best for the future.

I really hope your kidneys recover, or that you can get a transplant soon and that it will all go smoothly.

    God bless,

    Rebecca

Tiffiny (Lester) Argyris says "Sara's going home"
Vicki and Guy, I am so sorry to hear about Sara's going home! I am sure that your heart must be breaking right now. She was such a precious girl and a inspiration to all. Atleast we are certain that she is complete now and will never need to feel tired or ill again. You both are in my prayers and in my heart. She was not the only one who has touched many lives. She learned from your example in loving the Lord and in trusting him. You two where the most unselfish people I ever met. You gave to others when you already had too much on your plate! You and your kids will never be forgotten. You succeeded in bringing up such a wonderful girl and I am certain that you will receive great rewards. My love to both of you!

I'm sad to hear about her passing but she remains an inspiration to me. I only knew Sara as a little girl. Vicki & Guy, my love and prayers are with you.

    Marie Bagley says "Memories"
Sara had so much life about her and was such an inspiration to all of her friends and family. She loved the Lord and shared what the Lord had done in her life. She desired to see all her family and friends saved...her message and inspiration will go on in this website. Thank you God for sharing Sara with us these short years. We cherish the memories and love she had for all.

    Marcus Lim says "Praise God."
Your testimony has helped me tonight... it ways that I would only feel comfortable saying in person. I've never met you, but I'm a friend of Sean Kruse's. I hear that you're in the hospital now and they are getting ready to pull the plug. God's Will will be done... and though I'd like to shake your hand in this world, I know if I don't get the chance, I can do it in Heaven.

You've helped me to put things in perspective. Here I am whining because I've got a busted rotator cuff and I can't lift, and yet you're so positive and you've had so many health problems. Everything that God gives us is a blessing, and I need to stop wasting them.

    Isobel Stewart says "Your Web-Page"
Well, i think your web-page is just amazing as is the Lord our GOd!!!!!!!!. I put my faith in him a year ago and it is so gr8 to hear another cf sufferer putting their trust in him and how much he has done for you. Having CF is what God has planned for us both and we need to delight in that. It is what he wants for us. Well, cya, e-mail me sometime.

    Bye
    Joshua1:9 and 1 John 3v 14 & 16
